Our search for societies where things are not the way they should be took us to one of the most revered monuments in Africa, a legacy bequeathed on us by the colonial government. An institution created to recreate oneself in a harmonious environment. A place we all run to in order to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city. It is where those who have carved a niche for themselves in the society meet, to generate more ideas that help in formation of society at large.
This monument admits special class and creed and is formulated to respect you for what you are. It was almost a perfect society. Though, your profile in the society is dropped at the gate before you gain entrance. Your membership card admits only one person. Should you insist on going in with a non member, you MUST pay for him or her and MUST assume responsibility for his or her actions while in the premises. Members who flaunt these rules have several stories of regret to tell. The club does not respect any individual. That may inform why there is harmony since 1938 until recently.
